Our Forest School Holiday Clubs
Run in various locations in Derby and the surrounding area our holiday clubs provide daily forest school fun for 4 - 11 year olds.
Led by Ofsted Registered childminder Roz Phillips, our holiday clubs provide lots of fun to keep children entertained during school holidays and sometimes on inset days. These sessions are currently run according to childminding ratios which are much higher than other holiday clubs, this means that we are able to provide high quality experiences whilst ensuring that safety is maintained at all times. Activities include shelter building, pond dipping, bug hunting, nature crafts, fire-lighting and much more. Sessions are planned to be child led so we often find ourselves doing something unexpected! Core sessions run from 9am - 3pm and cost £25 per child with the option of a longer day for £40 to offer more flexibility for those that need it.You can also use childcare vouchers or Tax free childcare to pay for your sessions, just drop us an email and we'll invoice you. See below for details of our upcoming sessions.
Summer Holidays 2020
Due to Covid-19 restrictions we are able to offer a limited number of spaces on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only this summer, these will run at Whistlewood Common, Melbourne.
The nature of Forest School means that whilst we will encourage social distancing it will be impossible to enforce and acceptance of a place is based on this understanding. Our full Covid-19 Policy and procedures can be found on our Policies page linked below. We are also only offering the option to book both days each week so that we can minimise the number of contacts children and staff are having.
