Located at various locations in and around Derby our stay and play sessions offer an hour and a half of forest school fun for parents / carers to enjoy with their child. Please see below for current days and times.
Run by fully qualified Forest School leaders, our stay and play sessions are loosely based on a different theme each week. The leader will create a potential plan but the unique child-centered ethos of Forest school means that children will be encouraged to follow their own interests and the role of adults will be to facilitate this. Regular experiences are likely to include playing in our mud kitchen, creating works of art using natural materials, singing around the camp fire, making dens and playing games, feel free to bring a snack to eat during story time. The number of places will be limited so booking is essential. Please see below for our current sessions
